Step 1: Recover your cPanel IDs

When you purchase, you normally received an email containing your cPanel login information, as well as the URL to access it:

Simply click on the link and enter your username and password:

Once connected, you get to your hosting space, in which you will be able to set up many things. But what interests us for the moment is to install our WordPress site.

Step 2: Connect your domain name to O2SWITCH

If you have not purchased your domain name with your o2swtich hosting, you will need to link it to the latter. If you bought it with, go to step 3 directly.

For that, nothing simpler. Simply go to your domain name settings with your registrar, and change the settings « NS » (for « name waiters »). This to indicate to your domain name where it should point to the web.

Once in this parameter, delete the two lines already present (there may be up to 4 lines it seems to me), and replace them with these:

Validate and record.

Step 3: Install an SSL certificate on your domain name for more security (and credit to your future visitors!)

Step 4: Install WordPress!

2. Select your domain name.
3. Give a title to your blog and a description.

5. Select the language you want for your WordPress administration.

Don't touch anything else.

Finally click the button «Installation» at the bottom of the page. Wait for a few minutes while your site is installing... Bingo, it's over!

Step 5: Connect to its WordPress site easily

There are two possibilities to connect to his WordPress site:

1. With IDs
2. Via the cPanel (the fastest)
